UNL AFROTC 2004 Alum, Lt Col Earl Arnold, and his 559th FTS T-6 Texans conducted the flyover during the final home game of the season on November 19th. Lt Col Arnold and his flight crews spent 4 hours with the ROTC students discussing the aircraft, pilot training, their careers, and how ROTC training translates into active duty service. Additionally, Lt Col Arnold and his 559th FTS staff ensured that their older T-6 simulator model was donated to Detachment 465 for student use. The
detachment is extremely grateful for the resources provided by the 559th.
