History

The history of Air Force ROTC Detachment 465 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is steeped in tradition and excellence. Since 1946, our detachment has been a cornerstone of leadership development and military training on the UNL campus for 7 decades.

From its inception, Detachment 465 has been committed to shaping the future leaders of the United States Air Force. Over the years, our program has produced countless officers who have gone on to serve with distinction in various capacities within the Air Force.
